I created The Senior Dog Workbook after hearing too many stories of pet parents feeling unprepared to make end of life decisions for their pet or caught off guard when their veterinarian recommended euthanasia.

I created the Senior Dog Workbook after hearing too many stories of pet parents feeling unprepared to make end of life decisions for their pet or caught off guard when their veterinarian recommended euthanasia. This left pet parents wishing they could have done more earlier to help their canine companion.  As our pets age they can begin to experience pain and/or loss of mobility. This is commonly related to arthritis or other degenerative conditions. The key to having a happy and healthy senior dog is:

• preventative care
• knowing early signs of aging
• keeping your dog active
• assessing quality of life.

The workbook was created to be a tool to help you as you navigate the senior years of your pup. It contains a wellness questionnaire, two mobility measurement tools, dog pain scale, and quality of life assessment tools. ​These are just a few tools that will help you as your dog ages.
